ADAM Maxted first shot to fame nearly a decade ago as a hunk in trunks on Love Island, before embarking on a successful wrestling career.
The muscle man returned to the villa for the first series of All Stars, and it seems like he can’t get enough — he’s back as a bombshell for the 2025 series.
It will be Adam Maxted‘s third stint on Love Island when he enters the South African villa.
An insider told The Sun: “Love Island bosses are still in talks with Adam about him joining the series as a late arrival.
“He’s always been on the ‘most wanted’ list as a fan favourite from last year.
“He has history with Tina and could be set to turn heads if he signs on the bottom line.”

Who is Love Island star Adam Maxted?
Adam is a Northern Irish reality star and professional wrestler who was born on March 27, 1992.
The hunk is best known for appearing on Love Island, and also the All Stars spin-off version of the reality show.
Before hitting the spotlight, he worked as a PA in Marbella.
Like most other reality stars, Adam is also an Influencer and boasts over 200K followers on his popular Instagram handle @adammaxted as of January 2025.

Since leaving the villa Adam has focused on his wrestling career, where his nickname is “Flex”.
In 2018, he signed for 5 Star wrestling on the FreeSports channel, where he teamed up with Charlie Sterling.

Adam also appeared on ITV‘s WOS Wrestling, where he revealed how school bullies gave him his motivation to bulk up.
He said: “Without them I wouldn’t have become the man I am today.”
WOS Wrestling described him as “the most handsome man in wrestling”.
The show sees contestants take part in multiple bouts, with one wrestler taking home the WOS Wrestling Championship belt every week.

When was Adam Maxted on Love Island?
Adam joined series two of Love Island in 2016, arriving on day 11.
He didn’t have much luck when he entered the villa, but his humorous nature soon won over the rest of Islanders.
Adam was known for cracking jokes and playing pranks on the others singletons.
However, towards the end of the series he coupled up with Katie Salmon.
They made it to the final where they finished in fourth place, missing out to winners Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde.
Adam also appeared in the first All Stars series in 2024 and coupled up with Arabella Chi, but they split weeks later.

While the pair made it to the final, just five days after leaving the villa it was all over and things turned nasty quickly.
Adam even compared Katie to a kebab, taking to Twitter to say: “It’s like when you’re eating a kebab after a night out and the first few bites taste good but then you realise that it really isn’t nice at all!”
Adam previously claimed to have “slept with over 100 women”.
Speaking to new! magazine, he admitted to being quite the lothario.
Adam said: “My mum is going to kill me! I have slept with quite a few girls.
“Girls come to Marbella on holiday and forget their morals and self-respect.

Carly Taylor
After his stint on Love Island, Adam began a relationship with Carly Taylor, a dance and fitness instructor originally from Manchester and now based in Newcastle.
She currently works at David Lloyd Leisure and boasts a significant social media presence, with over 62,000 followers on Instagram as of January 2025.
While there was certainly a romantic connection between Carly and Adam, the exact timeline of their relationship has not been reported.

Tina Stinnes, who also returned as a bombshell on Love Island All Stars 2025, was briefly coupled up with Adam during their time on series two in 2016.
She entered the villa on Day 20 as a bombshell and initially coupled up with Adam, but their relationship was short-lived.
On Day 40, Adam was given a choice to recouple with either Tina or Katie.
He chose Katie, which resulted in Tina being dumped from the island.
After Tina left in series two, Adam went on to finish in fourth place alongside Katie.
Arabella Chi
Adam coupled up with Arabella Chi on the first All Stars series in 2024.
They both entered the villa as bombshells, with Arabella arriving first and Adam joining as the final bombshell of the series.
Their connection quickly developed, catching the attention of their fellow islanders and viewers alike.
Despite their promising start, Adam and Arabella’s journey on the show was cut short when they were voted out of the villa just days before the final, when previously dumped islanders returned to vote for the “least compatible couple”.
This unexpected elimination prevented them from reaching the grand finale, but they left the show as a couple, expressing their intention to make it work outside the villa.
But in the real world their romance lasted just five weeks.
A source close to Adam exclusively told The Sun: “They genuinely tried to make it work but every time they arranged to meet up, work got in the way.
“They’re going to stay friends.”
