A MUM shared her shock at when finding out her 14-year-old daughter was pregnant.
The 38-year-old woman is set to welcome her first grandchild in the coming months.
Karina Ballard revealed how her teenager dropped the biggest of bombshells.
The shocking news has since taken both their family and the internet by storm.
“Because of everything that she had gone through, she most likely would never be able to get pregnant or a period,” Karina explained.
“We thought she still wouldn’t be able to have kids. We were wrong obviously.”
Residing in Utah, USA, the mum has taken to TikTok to share how the family dealt with the surprising news of her daughter falling pregnant at just 14.
The soon-to-be grandmother revealed how she first suspected something when Klaire began craving food she had hated her whole life.
Instantly clocking that her daughter must be pregnant, Karina decided to go to bed early due to stress.
After waiting a day or two, the pair decided to head to Walmart and get a pregnancy test.
Klaire, a keen footballer, is now having to sit the sport out for a year due to the pregnancy.
Under the impression that Klaire couldn’t have kids, they decided to film the pregnancy reveal and savour the special moment.

“All of a sudden, we’re sitting in the living room, and she looks at me and says: ‘What’s for dinner? I’m craving spaghetti,'” Karina recalled.
She described the dish as her daughter’s “least favourite food in the world.”
“I was very flustered at this point because I immediately already knew what was going on, but I didn’t want to believe it,” she said.
“I ended up going to bed pretty early that night because I was stressed.
“Come Thursday evening, I couldn’t take it anymore.
“My gut just said she was pregnant, I could tell by the way she was acting, the food she wanted.”
However, the shock soon turned to happiness as the family celebrated what they previously thought impossible.
“I wanted her to have that memory because we were told for years and years now, she most likely would never have kids,” Karina said.
“It was exciting.”
