IT can often take a lot of time, and money, to transform a room.

So it’s no wonder one woman has been praised after sharing the quick and way she gave her bedroom a new lease of life – using just three strips of wallpaper.

Gemma took to her TikTok page to post a video detailing the transformation, which she began by clearing a space around where the wallpaper was going to go.

“Watch me transform this entire room using just three strips of wallpaper,” she wrote over the top of the clip.

She then measured out the wallpaper and laid them together on the floor to double check the placement was where she wanted it, before she started applying the paste to the wall.

Gemma then put the wallpaper – the Dreamy Marble Mural design from I Love Wallpaper – up, one strip at a time, until she was happy with the finished look.

At that point, she grabbed some gold trim, which she put down either edge of the wallpaper – giving it a “framed” look.

Similar peel and stick wall trims can be bought on Amazon for around £8.

After she was finished, Gemma put her round, gold mirror back up, and put her dressing table in place.

The pink and gold in the wallpaper was further highlighted by the pale pink room accessories, including the headboard and stunning dressing table chair.

“Love how this one turned out!” she added in the video caption.

And the comments section was almost immediately filled with impressed DIY fans praising Gemma for the clever home hack, with one writing: “That looks fab! Great idea!”
