A WOMAN has admitted that getting rid of her DD implants has given her a new lease of life.

Katie went under the knife eight years ago, with the operation taking her from her natural B cup to a DD.

But she recently made the decision to have them removed, returning to her natural size.

And in a Reel on Instagram, Katie said she’s noticed all sorts of benefits since ditching the silicone.

“After 8 years of implants (they had their fun), now it’s time to say goodbye,” she wrote over the top of the video, which began with her showing off her surgically-enhanced curves in a tiny brown bikini.

The clip then changed to showing her new figure in the same bikini, as she said the explant has given her an “unexpected confidence boost”.

She can also “breathe better” and a “weight was lifted”, both physically and metaphorically.

Katie also said she feels “more feminine” – a side effect she wasn’t expecting.

And people in the comments section were quick to praise Katie’s new look, insisting she looks much better without the bust boost.

“Omg so much better!” one wrote.

“I honestly feel like the implants took up all the attention,” another said.

“Without them, your beautiful face really shines through!”

“Same girl! I got mine removed 3 years ago,” a third wrote.

“Breathe better. No anxiety. No more migraines. My appetite is back.

“And when I woke from surgery I found out silicone had been leaking into my body.

“The surgeon said I was lucky to be alive.”

“You look amazing, a natural beauty,” someone else said.

“I haven’t had a chest that flat since I was a child and honestly- my god it must be so easy having a flat chest- easier to buy clothes, easer to exercise, probably easier to maintain a good posture,” another wrote.

“And if you were made that way naturally then even more reason to embrace your natural shape. How liberating!”

“Your face is glowing now. You look so much happier and healthier,” someone else gushed.

But not everyone had such positive things to say about Katie’s change in appearance.

“Down grade button,” one sighed.

“You looked much better before,” another added.

“I just unfollowed,” a third wrote.

“Went from a 7 to a 4 haha wow,” someone else cruelly commented.

Others hit back at the rude remarks, with one writing: “I absolutely despise the men in these comments saying she downgraded herself, when it’s her body and they will never have anything to do with that.”
