But influencer Perrie Sian hates how claw clips feel in her locks, as they stick out and make it uncomfortable if she’s in the car.
So instead she’s found an alternative that works just as well, in addition to being safer, and better for the hair as well.
In a video on her TikTok page, Perrie said: “I was a little bit sceptical, because I’ve got really thick hair because of my extensions.”
But once she’d got it in and secured it, she insisted she’d “never wear a claw clip again”.
“It doesn’t feel like it’s gonna fall out at all and I would say it’s better for my hair and safer for like when I drive and stuff, because it’s flat,” she added.
“That is a game changer.
“How the hell have I been on this planet for 33 years and I never knew about flat claw clips?
“They’re actually called non-slip jaw clips, but anyway, whatever they’re called, I’m in.”
Concluding, Perrie insisted: “You’re never gonna catch me wearing a core clip again. It’s perfect!”
“How the hell did I not know about these sooner?!” she asked in the caption.
People were quick to comment on the video, with many pointing out that it’s been warned not to wear a “traditional” claw clips while driving, due to the amount of accidents doctors have seen with the clips embedded into skulls.
