MANY contestants have searched for love in the famed Bachelor Nation mansion.
As the show prepares to air its 29th season with Grant Ellis as the star, the show will be going global this year in the search for love.
Who owns The Bachelor Mansion?
The Bachelor property is owned by contractor Marshall Haraden.
The President of the Marshall Group and his family are believed to live in the mansion whenever production for The Bachelor isn’t filming.
Haraden told Us Weekly that The Bachelor team first contacted him after scouting the home sometime in 2001.
He explained the program’s production schedule: “They’re here 42 days, twice a year.
“Everything leaves — everything that’s not tied down, that’s not part of the home.
“Curtains, TVs, pots and pans, clothes – everything in one day goes out and then they take two weeks to put it together the way they want it, and they shoot for X amount of days, and then they spend two weeks to put it back.
“It’s definitely a hassle. There’s a period where we moved out for six years because it was tough on our kids.”
The homeowner added: “The kids start school right when they start filming and it would disrupt them going back to school.
“Then [for The Bachelorette], it’s right when they’re getting ready to go back to the next [semester].”
As well as Agoura Hills in California, filming for season 29 reportedly also took place in Edinburgh in Scotland, Spanish capital Madrid, and the Dominican Republic.

The beautiful Villa de la Vina home sits on a stunning 10-acre lot in Agoura Hills, California.
It is situated within the Santa Monica Mountains of Malibu.
The mansion is named Villa de la Vina and was built in 2004.
In 2010, the property was sold for an estimated $1.7 million.
It is now believed to be worth over $7.4 million, according to online property websites.
How can I stay at The Bachelor Mansion?
Big fans of the show who want a romantic getaway can rent the mansion via Airbnb for over $30,000 a night.
According to the mansion’s Instagram page, it became available for rent at the end of 2020.
The property features seven bedrooms and eight baths and can sleep 13 guests.
The Mediterranean-style home boasts a luxurious pool, two jacuzzis, a pool table, handcrafted furniture, and enormous outdoor space.
According to Airbnb, staying at the mansion has its perks.
The listing states: “We offer our guests more than just the home, we also supply our guests with access to one of the most famous pools in the world, two jacuzzis, a pool table, hand crafted furniture, eye popping views, and enormous outdoor space all perfectly packaged for your stay.
“We are the perfect place for your next vacation or event.”
When does the new season of The Bachelor start?
Fans of The Bachelor do not have long left to wait until the iconic show comes back.
This time around, it will be Grant Ellis who is trying to find love in the mansion.
Grant made it to the final of Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette in 2024, coming in fifth place.
During the season finale of The Bachelorette, host Jesse Palmer announced that Grant would star in season 29 of The Bachelor.
Delivering the news, ABC said: “After an emotional exit, Grant Ellis’ journey to find love will continue as he takes on the role of leading man for the upcoming 29th season of The Bachelor.
“The adventurous day trader, who captured the hearts of Bachelor Nation with his genuine desire to build a future centered around family on Jenn’s season of The Bachelorette, will be handing out roses when his season premieres next year on ABC.”
When he failed to win Jenn’s heart on The Bachelorette, he said: “I poured everything out and it wasn’t good enough.
“It just sucks knowing that you feel some way about somebody, and they don’t feel the same about you.”
Season 29 of The Bachelor beings on Monday January, 27, 2025, airing on ABC.
