VICKY Pattison has revealed Kelly Brook will be taking over her Heart radio show – but the Geordie favourite won’t be going far.
The Sun revealed in 2022 that Vicky had landed the hosting job on Heart North East.
Vicky, 37, shared an emotional post as she announced the was leaving the radio show after two years, but will be moving to a new national primetime slot.
Alongside a smiling photo of her co-host Adam Lawrance, Vicky wrote: “Vicky shared an little goodbye from us…
“It is with a heavy heart I say that after almost two years getting you guys home from work, back from school, heading out with the gals and everything in-between our little radio show has come to an end.”
She also shared a series of other snaps from her time on the show, from pictures of her behind the mic, to glamorous photos of her walking into the studio.
Vicky continued: “As a proud Geordie I have absolutely loved presenting This Is Heart in the North East – it has honestly been a dream come true- the most incredible adventure.
“From having it on my vision board to actually hosting the Great North Run, to skating with Disney On Ice gang at Arena Newcastle and the endless laughs we’ve had along the way!
“I will miss the time spent up here, the extra time it allowed me to spend with my family and friends in the north and mostly I will miss my amazing team.
“And honestly, I can’t wait to see what everyone achieves next.”
The reality TV Queen then revealed model and presenter Kelly Brook would be stepping into her shoes.

The Newcastle beauty said she will would be leaving in style as she prepares for one more week at the station.
Vicky is set to host a new weekend show as part of schedule shake-up on Heart.
She told fans this morning: “SHE’S A NATIONAL RADIO PRESENTER BABYYYY!!!! Super excited to be joining Heart Radio weekend team!
“I’ll be hosting MY OWN brand new show starting March 1st from 4pm.
“Little bit nervous, this is a BIG GIG but mostly I’m just so excited!!! Eeeeekkkkkkk!”

Vicky’s new show will air late Saturday afternoons from 4pm to 7pm.
It means Vicky will be moving onto a bigger show as her career in broadcasting continues to grow from strength-to-strength.
Vicky’s fans were gutted by the news but chuffed that she’ll be back on the airwaves.
One wrote: “Awww we have loved tuning in and listening! Hope you had the best time! You look amazing hun.”
A second posted: “I’m gonna miss tuning in and listening, proud of you for all you achieved at Heart, and excited to see what’s coming next.”
Another added: “Am gutted! What am I going to listen to on the way home from work now.”
But this person said: “I’m so glad you’re still on Heart, I’ll be listening.”
Shortly after landing the radio job two years ago, Vicky told how she hoped to follow in the footsteps of Amanda Holden.
Vicky exclusively told us : “Amanda Holden is my absolute girl crush.
“I am obsessed with her.
“So any links or comparisons between myself and her I will always take as a huge compliment.
“I love Jamie, Amanda and Ashley on Heart, it’s one of my favourite breakfast listens, so yes the dream for me is definitely to have my own show and to join the Heart family permanently.”
Vicky Pattison added: “So let’s see how it goes, hopefully I will impress and all the northern listeners like me.
“I am feeling really nervous but super excited.”
Vicky’s move into radio had been on the cards for a while, with the former Geordie Shore star secretly attending test trail sessions with bosses at Heart.
An insider said: “Vicky has a great connection with the nation and is instantly personable but sometimes on radio it can be hard to connect.
However, it only took a few tests before bosses realised she was a natural.
“Obviously behind the scenes there are producers to help her with the technical side of things so all she has to worry about is being herself. So far everyone is really impressed.”
