NEW UK flights are set to launch in one of the country’s most popular seaside towns.
The brand-new route will connect passengers from a remote tip of the UK to just outside its capital.

The flights, operated by Eastern Airways, will take off from Newquay Airport in north Cornwall and land in London Southend Airport in Essex.
They will run from April 3 and fares will start at £59.99.
This is potentially cheaper than doing the route by train – which can cost as much as £100 and take as long as seven hours.
From Southend, passengers will be able to nip into Liverpool Street station in central London in just 52 minutes.
Or, they can take international flights from the airport, including those to Italy, Spain, France and Switzerland.
This is a major development in Cornwall‘s flight accessibility – as the remote county is now connected to three London airports, including Stansted and Gatwick.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Newquay Airport said they expected the route to be well used.
They said: “We’re confident this route will be incredibly popular with travellers from the east of England looking to experience Cornwall’s stunning coastline and rich heritage this summer season.
“The new service from Eastern Airways provides a convenient and efficient way to travel between the east and west of our country and meets the increased leisure demand in the summer months.”
Many other new flights are set to launch this year, including an EasyJet route to Cape Verde starting on March 31.
