A WOMAN has revealed how she transformed her council house kitchen on a tight budget.
The woman who goes by Msten Jos on YouTube shared the entire process in a video and people were seriously impressed.

In the clip, she said: ” I went from this dull and old-style kitchen to my beautiful, airy, modern style kitchen.
“I did this all on a budget of £48.58, this just shows you that you don’t have to spend over the odds.”
She showed the kitchen before her transformation which had black countertops, dark brown wooden cupboard doors, and an all-white tiled backsplash.
While she picked the design seven years ago, she decided it was time to change it up and go for something lighter.
“I’ve just decided I’d prefer an all-white kitchen just to open up the space and make it look brighter,” she explained.
To start, she took the cupboard doors off and painted them with a satin white furniture paint from Wilkos for £9.99.
She then moved on to her tiles and used a must-have buy from Amazon to give them a cheap and modern update.
The DIY whizz used a grout pen in charcoal grey to colour them in for £4.95 (at the time she purchased the pen, it was £3.99).
“That pen transformed my whole kitchen tiles, it looks absolutely amazing,” she added.
Once the tiles were complete, she cleaned the work tops and applied a marble vinyl sheet which she purchased for £6 from B&Q and used three sheets in total.

She also purchased DC fixed tools off of eBay which helps smooth out the paper and cut it to size.
She then showed off the new kitchen which looked so much bigger and brighter from her budget-friendly DIY.
“This is the finished look of my beautiful kitchen, I absolutely love it,” she beamed.
And she wasn’t the only one, people were quick to comment under the video posted to her account MsTen Jos in awe of her handy work.
