MARCUS RASHFORD could find himself at the centre of a deadline-day scramble.
The Manchester United star has been exiled from the first-team in recent weeks and made available for transfer.

United want £40million for Rashford and are willing to let him leave on loan, which appears the more likely deal.
Clubs in Europe have been linked, with Rashford understood to be keen on a switch to Barcelona.
But his hefty £325,000-a-week wages have proved a stumbling block so far and no deal is close to being completed, according to transfer guru David Ornstein.
He said on The Overlap‘s Fan Debate: “There is interest in him because of quality we have seen in the past and that’s why conversations have taken place with the likes of AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus.
“There was some interest from the Premier League but I think his decision was that he wanted to go abroad and his preference is Barcelona.
“But Barcelona is extremely difficult financially. The door has never been closed at United because he is under contract until 2028.
“Right now I don’t know of anything being close. It could be a deadline day scramble. The biggest problem in the Rashford situation is the finances involved.
“If he was more affordable I think he probably would have made a move by now. A loan move most likely.”
Ruben Amorim and Rashford are reportedly no longer on speaking terms after the United boss said he would rather name a coach in his matchday squad than the forward.
Rashford, 27, himself admitted he is ready for a new challenge and Ornstein predicted that he will likely make a move.

He continued: “How much do you want to get playing elsewhere? How much do you want to work your plans back into United? Is that door truly open? It’s a complete mess.
“I think it would be surprising if something can’t be resolved for him to play the second half of the season elsewhere but because of the finances involved and the complications there is no guarantee he will move.”
