TOMMY Fury has been hit with a fresh blow after his autobiography is slashed to less than £2.50 in Tesco.

The boxer’s book, Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life as a Fury, was released back in October last year.

The boxer was already hit with a harsh blow after losing 20,000 Instagram followers after his split from Love Island icon Molly-Mae

It details what life is really like juggling his many identities – boxing champion, TV star, mental health advocate, and father – whilst he navigated the most difficult period of his life in August 2024, after his very public break-up with the mother of his child, Molly-Mae Hague, 25.

But just five months after Tommy was hit with allegations of infidelity and his tell-all book first hit the shelves, bargain hunters have spotted that the honest read has now been reduced down to only £2.18.

One savvy shopper spotted the huge discount and eagerly flocked to social media to share it with others, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on BARGAIN LOVERS Poundland, Home Bargains, B&M, Primark, The Range & More, a public Facebook group with 764,500 members, Tesco shopper Julia Holmes uploaded a snap of a reduced to clear shelf in her local store in Nottingham.

Next to Fern Britton’s book, Boris Johnson’s autobiography and Daisy May Cooper’s honest story, sat Tommy Fury’s first and only autobiography.

The Love Island star’s book, which was originally set to be priced at £25 but was then slashed to £12.50, has now seen an even bigger reduction.

Alongside her post, the bargain hunter confirmed: “All these books are now £2.18 (was £12.00).”

Facebook users were left in hysterics to see the discounted book and many eagerly flocked to the comments to share their thoughts.

One person said: “That’s a real good deal for toilet paper!”

To this, someone else replied: “Too hard for toilet paper. I would use it for the fire if I had one or give it to someone with a fireplace.”

Meanwhile, another joked: “Does this mean they will pay you to take them?”

Whilst someone else simply commented: “Leave them on the shelf.”

Tommy and Molly-Mae back on?

The yellow sticker discount on Tommy Fury’s book comes just one day after he and ex Molly-Mae ‘gave away’ that they spent the weekend together.

The couple, who are said to have recently rekindled their romance after enjoying Valentine’s weekend together, recently shared a major clue that they were together just days ago.

In snaps from a weekend spent in the countryside, both Molly-Mae and Tommy could be seen posing in separate snaps in a similar location.

“Life’s been looking up,” Tommy penned as he shared a photo dump of snaps.

In the Instagram posts, Tommy, who opened up about his alcohol battle earlier this year and lost 20,000 Instagram followers about his relationship breakdown, shared solo selfies and sweet snaps with his daughter Bambi, and even posed in a life jacket by a river.

Not only this, but Molly-Mae had also previously been seen wearing an identical life jacket.

Sharing a photo dump a few days ago with her snap by the river, Molly-Mae penned: “The favourites album.”

Tommy’s alcohol battle

Back in January, Tommy blamed his split from Molly-Mae on his addiction to alcohol and revealed he would drink to get ‘black-out drunk’ most nights.

The Love Island 2019 couple shocked fans when they announced the end of their relationship on social media in the summer.

Tommy was accused of cheating on her before she called off their five year relationship, after being sent an “upsetting video” showing him on a lads holiday in Macedonia.

But the professional boxer broke his silence on those cheating allegations during an emotional interview with Men’s Health.

He admitted he had become dependent on alcohol following a painful boxing injury – saying “my mental health was in the pan”.

The brother of Tyson Fury admitted he enjoyed the party lifestyle a little too much – spending nights drinking to “get black-out drunk”.

This soon took a toll on his relationship with fiancee Molly-Mae – but he insisted he never cheated on the mother of his child.

Tommy said: “Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself.

“It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing. You need to get a grip of it.”

Not only this, but he also added: “If you’re in the same spot as me, where you just think that it’s going to cure all your problems, it doesn’t.

“You wake up even worse and you want to drink more to try and feel happy again. That’s the cycle of it.”

Tommy then said: “The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore.

“It kills me to say it, [but] it’s true, I couldn’t.

“I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is.

“People go through different things in life and we all have our crosses to bear. I’ve got mine to bear.”
