CORONATION Street’s Todd Grimshaw is in for a nasty shock as he uncovers the truth about his new flame, Theo.
The former bad boy, played by Gareth Pierce, has been enjoying a budding romance, but his happiness is about to be shattered when he stumbles upon a devastating revelation.
After a tense encounter, Theo apologises for his past behaviour and confesses his feelings for Todd, who invites him back to the house.
But later, Todd is left gobsmacked when Theo turns up at Shuttleworths to arrange a funeral – and makes a jaw-dropping revelation.
Back home, Todd relays what he’s learned to Billy, who urges him to steer clear.
But things get heated when Theo shows up at their door, leaving Billy fuming.
As the week goes on, a desperate Theo begs Todd not to make a scene at his mother-in-law’s funeral.
Meanwhile, Todd suggests setting up a crowdfunding page to grant Julie the holiday of a lifetime, with Eileen giving the plan her seal of approval.
Corrie viewers saw Theo (played by James Cartwright) make his Weatherfield debut last week as the local scaffolder.
Todd instantly took a liking to him, which prompted Julie and Eileen to set them up.
This seriously backfired when Theo made it clear he wasn’t interested in him and wasn’t gay.
But when they bumped into each other at Speed Dahl, there was obvious chemistry as they both enjoyed their meal for one together.

Later, Todd matched with someone on a dating app for gay men, and when they exchanged photos, he was startled to see it was Theo.
