BRUMMIES are Britain’s biggest bonkers, a survey found — romping an average of 61 times a year, or once every six days.

Geordies had the least sex, averaging 25 times a year or once every 15 days.

The typical lover scored 44 times last year — once every eight days.

That represented something of a flop compared to 2023, when the total was 57, or just over once a week.

The survey of 2,000 adults was carried out for married dating site illicitencounters.com.

Spokeswoman Jessica Leoni said: “Birmingham set quite the pace, leaving people from Newcastle trailing far behind.

“But according to our big bonk league, overall sex lives have been dwindling nationally — not only compared to 2023 but to the 60 times a year recorded the year before.

“Only Birmingham topped that last year.”
