The entrepreneur has now addressed his showdown earlier in the series with Carlo

This week, both teams had been tasked with selecting products to sell on a shopping channel to real customers.

However, after losing, Max, Dean Franklin and Chisola Chitambala found themselves in the firing line, with Max later taking the hit.

During the task Dean and Max appeared to clash, especially in the gallery, with Lord Sugar telling Max he had ‘lost his rag’.

Hitting back, the entrepreneur told The Sun: “It wasn’t fair at all.

“It was all of the kind of disagreements I guess, maybe in there were few and far between.

“We worked well together in that gallery and I think it’s a really intense environment.

“As I said, we had slightly different styles. so Dean was frustrated, I was frustrated, but I think we controlled it well and certainly no one lost their rag with each other.”

Senior account manager Max also addressed his show feud with Carlo after they clashed following accusations from Carlo that Max intentionally making him perform badly.

Their furious feud also spilled out into the boardroom with Lord Sugar less than impressed with what he witnessed.

In the end, the mogul sided with Max and opted to give Carlo the boot from The Apprentice.

Max told The Sun: “I think on the show we were all super confident.

“Episode three, as you saw, was very much a Max vs Carlo. It wasn’t quite the case, you know, the, it wasn’t a one on one with Carlo.

“I think Carlo shared similar opinions to me and voiced those opinions.

“I’ve spoken to Carlo since and it’s all water under the bridge.”
