LORD Sugar has made a huge announcement about the future of The Apprentice after 20 years on air.
The hit BBC business show has been a staple of the broadcaster’s schedule ever since its launch back in 2005.



With the current series producing drama-filled moments on and off screen, Lord Sugar has revealed its future on air.
Speaking to the BBC, the tycoon, 77, has confirmed he’s signed a brand new deal to keep The Apprentice on air.
It will mean the famous boardroom will remain on air for at least another three years.
During his interview with the Beeb’s Amol Rajan, Lord Sugar said he’s ‘proud’ of The Apprentice.
He said: “Listen, when I took the job on of The Apprentice, I was already a multi-millionaire.
“I didn’t do it for the money.”
It comes as BBC bosses reboot the Celebrity Apprentice as the show celebrates its 20th year.
The Sun previously revealed the star-studded lineup which includes Big Brother host AJ Odudu.
She’ll be joined in the boardroom by JLS and Strictly star JB Gill, Kadeena Cox and Angela Scanlon.

Tom Skinner, who shot to fame thanks to The Apprentice, will return for the celeb spin-off.
Completing the lineup is Shazia Mirza, actress Sarah Hadland, DJ and radio presenter Charlie Hedges and Paralympic gold medallist Kadeena Cox.
