SIMON Cowell has told how he has ‘run out of lives’ after taking part in another death-defying stunt on Britain’s Got Talent.
The talent show judge said his life flashed before his eyes during a dangerous audition on on tonight’s show.

He was asked up on stage by contestant Kranthi Kumar Panikera, who proceeded to smash watermelons with a sledgehammer inches from the music mogul’s head.
To make things worse he was seen moving around during the stunt, with co-hosts Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden asking for the stunt to stop when the sledgehammer came perilously close to Simon’s face.
Landing just centimetres away from him, Simon said to The Mirror: “I genuinely thought my days were numbered.
“The producers on this show just love my pain! There was one point, and I’m not lying, I genuinely thought, ‘That’s it. It’s over’.”
“A guy nearly smashed my head in with a sledgehammer. He was slipping all over the place and sweating so much.”
“That’s what freaked me out because when I got up close, I thought, ‘My god, his adrenaline’s on such a high, I shouldn’t be doing this’.”
The 65-year-old went on to admit that his co-hosts Amanda and Alesha weren’t happy about the terrifying stunt, saying: “When I looked at them, they were really worried.”
“I don’t want to push my luck, I did say at one point that I think I’m running out of lives here.”
The stunt was performed by Indian adventurer Kranthi, also known as ‘Drill Man’, who holds four Guiness World Records for his terrifying stunts.
These include the most items taken out of hot oil with his bare hands in one minute and stopping the most electric fan blades using his tongue in one minute.

In 2020 the X Factor star suffered an injury he said left him ‘lucky to be alive’.
After a terrifying e-bike crash the father of one was treated for concussion and a broken arm, as well as a severely injured back.
The accident resulted in him having a metal rod put into his spine, alongside multiple procedures and operations.
After the crash he returned to his hobby only to suffer a second bike crash in Malibu.
Speaking to his ex Terri Seymour on ExtraTV he said: “My most creative time is now when I cycle, because I cycle even though it’s an e-bike.”
“I still got to pedal and I do about 10 miles a day, even though I had an accident on one. That expression ‘get back on your bike’, with me, it was literal.”
