Martin is left furious with his girlfriend

Ruby’s dealing with leading Councillor Baker will result in a devastating decision that impacts Martin.

Ultimately, it is revealed that the market can remain open but Martin still remains moody, especially with Ruby.

In a bid to prove to Martin how she is backing him, Ruby has conversation with Baker but is left shocked when he announces that despite the market remaining open, Martin’s stall will be closed owing to a health and safety violation.

Martin is furious at Ruby, but Stacey speaks up for her.

When Martin tells Ian about the future of the fruit and veg stall, he is shocked to see that Ian appears to care very little.

Stacey attempts to lift Martin’s spirits and decides to ask Ruby if she can use her old tricks to get Baker to re-think his decision.

However, Ruby refuses to help out Stacey as she is keen to prove that she has changed.

Stacey then makes it her mission to get Martin’s stall back without Ruby’s help

As Ruby questions if Stacey’s actions prove that she has feelings for Martin, she is later left floored by a shock discovery.

Ruby will witness a tender moment between Martin and Stacey that almost leads to a kiss.
