A SHOCKED mother unknowingly vacuumed up her grandfather’s ashes – after her young sons tipped them over the carpet and she mistook them for dirt.
And shockingly the story gets worse, as she claims the kids may have “eaten some of him” too.

Monica Long, from Colorado, US, posted the horrifying video to her TikTok account, @molo.solo, which quickly went viral.
It’s so far been viewed 2.4 million times, with people reassuring her “Paw Paw is laughing at the other side”.
The video starts by showing the empty bottle that previously contained her grandfathers ashes.
Monica got straight to the point and said bluntly: “The boys got Paw Paw.
“They got him and they dumped him out all over my carpet.
“I didn’t realise it was Paw Paw and I vacuumed him up.”
In an awful twist, Monica added: “They may have eaten some of him too, cause Ramy had the cap in his mouth. Jesus Christ!”
Monica is a mother to three boys – Atticus, 14, Isaiah, 3, and Ramy, 2.
The single parent told People magazine that she had left her two toddlers alone for a moment in January so she could use the bathroom while setting up for a birthday party.
It was days until she saw the empty bottle that once held her relative’s ashes, and realised what had happened.

I love them to death but oh my goodness, I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.”
Monica recalled seeing the children covered in dust, and assuming it was just dirt they had been playing it.
But when she revisited the memory, she remembered seeing her youngest son’s face covered in the “dust” too.
“I pieced it together. The littlest one, he figured out how to open bottles by biting and unscrewing them,” she said.
It was then she realised that the mystery dust was actually her cremated grandfather’s remains.
Viewers on TikTok couldn’t help but see the funny side.
One person commented: “He got to play with his grandkids one last time?”

And another person quipped: “I bet Paw Paw was laughing his ashes off watching them. Well, they had fun with Paw Paw one last time!”
In a later video, Monica confirmed that her grandfather would have seen the funny side of the story, telling viewers: “He was a follower of Jesus, and he would definitely get a kick out of this whole ordeal.”
