NUTELLA has launched a new product that you’ll only find in the bakery aisle at Tesco.

The maker of the iconic chocolate and hazelnut spread has launched a new doughnut for customers to enjoy.

The floury baked good comes with a soft outer dough and is filled with Nutella spread.

Following the news of the launch fans have been sharing their excitement on social media.

One person said they were “running to Tesco” to try the delight, while a second said they “ate two this morning” and they tasted “so good”.

A third person jokingly asked: “Why do they release things like this when I’m on a diet”.

But customers keen to try the snack will have to head to their local Tesco bakery in order to give it a try.

The UK’s biggest grocery store has a bakery section at most of its supermarkets, where they sell baked goods such as bread and cakes.

Tesco is charging £2.65 for a two pack of the treat.

It follows the launch of Nutella muffins which began being sold in Tesco’s stores last year for the same price.

However, these don’t appear to be exclusive to Tesco as shoppers can also pick up these bakery items at Morrisons and Lidl.

It’s not the only sweet treat exciting Tesco customers in recent weeks.

Tesco shoppers are rushing to buy a dupe of a popular Cadbury easter egg that’s been described as “delicious”.

The raisin and biscuit chocolate egg is similar to a luxury Cadbury offering, but it’s almost half the price.

The hollow Tesco egg contains raisins and biscuit pieces in the milk chocolate shell and can be picked up by Clubcard holders for just £8.

In comparison Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut Inclusions Ultimate Egg is £15.

The Cadbury egg is similar to the Tesco counterpart, but also contains a bag of milk chocolates.

HOW TO SAVE MONEY AT TESCO

Tesco’s Clubcard scheme allows shoppers to earn points as they shop, these points can then be turned into vouchers for money off food or other reward partner schemes. 

When you spend £1 in-store or online, you get one point when you scan your card or app at the checkout.

Drivers using Clubcards now get one point for every two litres spent on fuel.

You can also double their worth when you swap them for discounts with “reward partners”.

For example, you can turn your vouchers into a 3 month Disney+ Standard With Ads subscription.

To do this, select £7.50 of Clubcard vouchers to get a 3 month Standard With Ads Disney+ subscription.

Tesco shoppers can also get Clubcard prices when they have the loyalty card.
