NOTTINGHAM FOREST want the best wage offer to send Lewis O’Brien out on loan.
The midfielder, 26, fancies Preston or Blackburn but they cannot come up with even half of his Forest salary.

Derby, Luton and Swansea are willing to offer more but he is after a club with a play-off chance.
O’Brien signed for Forest from Huddersfield following their promotion to the Premier League in 2022.
He has since made just 17 appearances for them and has been farmed out on three separate loans.
The Essex-born ace first headed to the US for a stint with D.C. United in 2023.
He then played 25 times for Middlesbrough during a return to the Championship last season.
After featuring for Forest in pre-season, O’Brien returned to America for a spell with Los Angeles FC last July.
The deal included an option to buy, which was not taken up by the MLS side.
In total he played 18 times for LAFC before returning to Forest.
