But do you know who her rock star dad and film producer mum are?

The lady in question is English actress Mickey Sumner, the eldest of Sting and Trudie Styler’s children.

Mickey moved from England to New York in 2004 and gained a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Fine Art at the prestigious Parsons School of Design.

According to reports, Mickey had hoped to be a model before deciding that she wanting to follow an acting path.

Mickey landed a series of small parts before bagging a leading role in the 2011 historical Showtime series, The Borgias.

The following year, Mickey appeared opposite Barbie star Greta Gerwig in the critically acclaimed black and white movie, Frances Ha.

More recently, Mickey has appeared in the hit Netflix series Snowpiercer.

But despite her parents’ hugely successful careers in the arts, Sting – real name Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner – and Trudie weren’t entirely convinced to begin with.

Speaking to Interview magazine in 2013, Mickey recalled: “I got a BFA in Fine Art, and then I told my family I was going to be an actress.

“They were like, ‘What? Where is your fallback plan?'”

Sting, who fronted 1980s band The Police, and Trudie have four children together.

They are also parents to Jake, 39, Eliot, 34, and 29-year-old Giacomo.

Jake has followed in his mother’s footsteps and has directed several award-winning documentaries and movies.

After landing a record deal with Island Records while still at school, Eliot changed direction and now DJs in clubs across Europe.

Giacomo, meanwhile, has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and now works for London’s Metropolitan Police.

Sting also has two other children from his marriage to his first wife Frances Tomelty – musician Joe, 48, and actress Fuchsia, 42.

The musician previously spoke about being a dad-of-six to PEOPLE and insisted he ‘never promised them anything’.

He said: “My kids are fiercely independent.

“They’re not sitting there waiting for a handout at all, and I wouldn’t want to rob them of that adventure in life: to make your own living.

“It’s a wonderful and difficult thing to do. So I haven’t promised them anything. I’ll obviously help them if they’re in trouble, but they’re not waiting for a handout.”
