DEVASTATED mourners have gathered for the funeral of a 15-year-old boy who was stabbed to death at school.
Hundreds of people gathered to pay their respects to Harvey Willgoose after his tragic death.
Today, family and friends gathered at Sheffield Cathedral for the service.
The poignant ceremony was also broadcast on a big screen outside the building with Harvey’s family giving an open invitation for anyone to attend.
Mourners turned out wearing t-shirts with Harvey’s face on them with anti-knife crime messages.
Another group of pals clutched a flag with Harvey on it and the words “forever 15”.
Devastated mourners were seen bowing their heads and wiping away tears as the schoolboy’s coffin was carried into the church.
It was draped in the colours of Sheffield United, in honour of Harvey who was a massive fan.
Others turned out in Sheffield United kits to pay their respects to the schoolboy who attended Blades matches home and away.
Harvey was fatally knifed at All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield on February 3.
The service started at around 2.30pm and is expected to last an hour ahead of a private service for Harvey’s family at an unnamed Sheffield crematorium.
The death of the Sheffield United fan shocked the city to its core and left friends and family heartbroken.
After their son’s death, Harvey’s parents Caroline and Mark Willgoose released a statement which said: “We are utterly heartbroken at the loss of our beautiful boy, ‘Harvey Goose’.
“Our lives are devastated and will never be the same again.

A 15-year-old boy, who legally can’t be named, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court earlier this month charged with murder.
The teen, who is also accused of possession of a bladed article and affray, spoke only to confirm his identity.
He was remanded into youth detention accommodation to next appear at the same court for a plea hearing on April 28.
A provisional trial due to last for four weeks was set for June 30.
The court was previously told how the teen allegedly brought a hunting knife to school, which was used in the attack.
Harvey was knifed twice in the heart before he died, it was said.
Heroic teachers raced to perform emergency first aid as the school was placed on lockdown.
Harvey was rushed to hospital in a serious condition but tragically died shortly after.
