THIS is the moment a monster strolled around covered in his girlfriend’s blood after he stabbed her to death at a train station.
Jason Flore was seen arguing with 19-year-old Stephanie Marie just moments before he plunged a 20cm blade through her heart.
The callous 26-year-old then spun a web of lies – claiming Stephanie had stabbed herself in the horror in Crawley, West Sussex.
But jurors saw through his deceit and Flore was unanimously found guilty of murder after just three hours of deliberation.
Hove Crown Court was told the brutal killing took place on August 18 last year at the busy train station.
The couple, who shared a child, were seen rowing on a railway bridge as Flore acted in an “aggressive” manner towards Stephanie.
She was seen looking upset before Flore stabbed her then fled the scene.
Chilling CCTV showed him calmly strolling around while covered in Stephanie’s blood.
He then called 999 to tell them someone had been stabbed by Crawley train station and that they were not breathing.
Prosecutor Patrick Dennis said: “The defendant said he was friends with Stephanie Marie, not her partner.
“He said she had stabbed herself.”
Footage also shows the moment armed cops swooped on the monster, who told officers: “She did it to herself”.
Flore was asked to tie up his dog, which was seen barking aggressively, before officers forced him to lie on the ground.
Stephanie’s devastated family previously paid tribute to the mum.
They said: “Stephanie was a much-loved daughter, sister and mother.
“We are devastated that her young life has been ended in this way. She had her whole life ahead of her.
“At school she excelled at sport and loved basketball, football and gymnastics.
“We will miss her so much. Life will never be the same.”
Flore is facing life in prison when he is sentenced later today.
Detective Superintendent Sam Blackburn, a senior investigating officer for British Transport Police, said: “Stephanie was a young woman with a whole life ahead of her to enjoy. But she had it stolen away by a controlling and coercive partner.
“She was a much loved daughter, sister, and mother who enjoyed sports, music – especially playing guitar – and had ambitions to be a hairdresser.
“This outcome is the result of countless hours of investigation and I thank everyone who has contributed to ensuring Stephanie’s killer has been held accountable for what he did today.
“It is important that we remember her name today instead of his.
“While today’s verdict will never replace the tragic loss felt by those who loved Stephanie, it has ensured that justice has been served.
“I hope this outcome helps them find some peace after such a devastating loss.”
