FORMER Premier League striker Aleksandar Mitrovic was taken to hospital for a check-up over a heart issue.
Reports from Saudi Arabia said he was taken in due to a ‘rapid heartbeat caused by physical stress.’

But The Sun has learnt that the hospital visit was largely precautionary and he has been given the all clear.
He has been discharged from hospital without complication.
In a statement, his club Al-Hilal said: “The medical staff has decided to rest Aleksandar Mitrovic from Sunday’s training, due to feeling fatigue and arrhythmias.
“He will be observed by specialists, as his case will be monitored constantly.”
An arrhythmia is when the heart beats with an irregular or abnormal rhythm. It could be too fast or too slow or just irregularly.
The Serbia international last played on Friday as Al-Hilal beat Al Faihah 2-0 at home, scoring in the 89th minute.
He played for just under half-an-hour, making his first appearance for two months after recovering from a hamstring injury.
The injury was the longest absence of his career.
Speaking after the game, he said: “It has been a tough two and half months for me, had some problems with my hamstring, injury… after injury.”
The player moved from Fulham to Al-Hilal in 2023 for a reported £50million, making him the club’s record signing at the time.
He has scored 61 goals in 68 appearances since making the move, assisting a further 11.
