Mel B took multiple swipes at Eamonn Holmes during a feisty appearance on The Weakest Link.

The pair both appeared on the celebrity edition of the long-running BBC general knowledge game show.

On one round, both Eamonn Holmes and Mel B got one question wrong each and so they were labelled as the Weakest Link.

As per the rule of the BBC One game, the players had to decide who they would like to eliminate.

Mel voted to eliminate the former This Morning star alongside radio personality Arielle Free and Morning Live chef Briony May Williams.

While TV presenter Eamonn chose his rival along with Rob Bent and former Coronation Street actress Shobna Gulati.

As the votes came to a draw, Shobna was the strongest player of the round and she had the deciding vote.

She stuck with her original decision and decided that the former Spice Girls star should be eliminated from the game.

However, Mel protested her exit when host Romesh Ranganathan asked how she felt.

“Well, I did get one right,” she exclaimed in a seeming dig at the former ITV presenter.

Adding: “Eamonn got two wrong.”

But he couldn’t help but interject as he knew Mel’s statements were actually incorrect.

“Did I?”, he asked. “I demand a VAR decision on that!”

As the rest of the studio was in hysterics at her blunder and Eamonn’s joke, Mel then changed her argument.

“Well he took a long time. You took a long time to give your answers, you took up a lot of time!” she insisted.

This was before Romesh then asked her if she held any grudges against Eamonn, to which the singer stated, “a lot.”
