IF you look closely, Netflix viewers will notice a secret nod to Princess Kate in Meghan Markle’s new TV show, despite their public feud.

Not only this, but it appears that the mum-of-two, 43, has also made a controversial tribute to the late Princess Diana, which has since seen her slammed as ‘attention-grabbing’.

From a watch inherited from Princess Diana worth more than £21,000 to the posh necklace she wears whilst preparing breakfast for her kids

While Meghan attempts to portray herself as a relatable ‘homemaker’ through her new Netflix series, if you take a deeper look, her unachievable ‘stealth wealth’ wardrobe is bound to leave you open-mouthed.

Whilst she is filmed collecting honey and making breakfast for her kids, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, she does so wearing some of the most expensive items in her wardrobe, including a £21,400 watch and a £4,550 bracelet.

With Love, Meghan, launched yesterday and whilst there’s countless scenes of the Duchess preparing food in somewhat ordinary settings, it appears that every moment is elevated with jaw-droppingly expensive and elevated pieces that scream old money.

Not only is Meghan dripping in jewellery worth thousands of pounds, but she’s also seen in pricey cashmere separates and silk skirts too.

The aesthetic to her £130,000 Netflix wardrobe is ‘stealth wealth’ – the trend that belongs to people so at ease with their status that they dispense with any obvious designer insignia.

It comes as…

  • Meghan Markle’s new show, Meghan, With Love, was released on Netflix today
  • The series begins with an emotional Meghan fawning over bees and honey
  • In one episode, the Duchess of Sussex makes bacon and jokes: ‘My bacon brings all the boys to the yard’
  • She also corrects pal Mindy Kaling calling her ‘Markle’ – insisting her surname is ‘Sussex’
  • The Duchess goes onto share a touchy feely moment with Prince Harry, who appears briefly
  • Meghan adds bizarre items to ‘children’s party bags’ from Manuka honey sticks to gardening tools
  • In one bizarre moment, Meghan gets flustered and tells guest Alice Waters ‘I feel like you’re watching me fall in love’ while eating a turnip
  • She also lets loose on a hike, dancing with a pal while out on a dog walk
  • Fans slam show ‘the fakest stuff ever’ as they find identical recipes online
  • Meghan channels Princess Diana again as she rocks Northwestern jumper

Whilst Meghan opted for Aquazzura stilettos and figure-hugging Victoria Beckham dresses back in her ‘royal’ days, it appears that now, the look is somewhat looser and softer.

But it’s clear that no expense is spared when it comes to her style.

Throughout the numerous outfit changes – there are five in one episode alone – amongst her pricey dresses and designer mules, Meghan does let a bit of ‘ordinary’ slip in, through her £49.99 Zara trousers in episode two, and a £101 brown dress, also from Zara, in episode four.

But it appears that Meghan is light years away from those ripped jeans at the Invictus Games in 2017.

Now, this Suits actress is clearly a moneyed mother with a pricey wardrobe – and here we take a look at the spine-tingling cost of her With Love looks.

The Duchess of Sussex gave fans an insight into her show, With Love, Meghan, which airs soon.

There will be eight 33 minute episodes featuring a host of Meg’s various Hollywood friends trying her simple, yet “elevated”, food.

A montage of various clips in the nearly two-minute video showed Meghan walking through vegetable patches and fields.

She was also filmed browsing florists, hand-selecting beautiful flowers for table arrangements, showing off her creative side.

The Duchess even tried her hand at beekeeping, fully suited up, as she collected honey.

In the exciting new trailer, Meghan shared: “I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it.

“Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them.

“I’m going to share some little tips and tricks. I see what colour I gravitate to, and everything goes from there. And how you incorporate these practices every day.

“This is about connecting with friends… I love that we’re doing this together for the first time. Making new friends… and just learning.

“We’re not in the pursuit of perfection. We’re in the pursuit of joy. I have to get it totally wrong, to get it totally right.”

The trailer showcased many “candid” moments, from Meghan accidentally squeezing some lemon juice in her eye, to knocking freshly baked goodies off a plate.

Prince Harry featured at the end of the video, embracing his wife in a warm hug.

But it was her jewellery that really stole the show – as she wore a  £3,218 Logan Hollowell necklace, a £21,400 Cartier watch which she inherited from Princess Diana, a £4,300 Ariel Gordon bracelet and a £4,550 Cartier Love bracelet.

She also donned a £265 pair of Mother Denim jeans, £169 Le Chameau boots and trousers from Anine Bing worth £195.

EPISODE TWO

In episode two, whilst she made a breakfast platter, Meghan wore a gorgeous Doen Emmalyn sweater worth £300, which she paired with a £198 Reformation silk midi skirt.

Moments later, she was seen in a dress worth £854, from her sister-in-law Kate Middleton’s favourite brand – Emilia Wickstead.

Meghan styled the stunning dress with Luna Skye 14ct gold large baguette diamond leaf studs worth £2,098.

Attempting to keep things somewhat more low-key, Meghan then wore a pair of £49.99 Zara trousers.

But she styled the chic high-street trousers, which left Mindy Kaling stunned, with a £990 Loro Piana top and a £310 Jenni Kayne jumper.

Additionally, she also wore a We The Wild green apron which retails at £25, a £77 Denim Forum shirt and a £54 blue J Crew shirt.

EPISODE THREE

Following this, Meghan looked much more casual in episode three.

She opted for a black pair of £180 Anine Bing jeans, which she styled with a plain grey £105 James Perse T-shirt.

In the scenes following, Meghan tied her hair back in a bun and wore a striped £250 Doen Hava shirt, but it was her pricey Cartier necklace that is worth the cash, with a whopping price tag of £15,500.

EPISODE FOUR

Of course this cooking enthusiast has multiple aprons, as in episode four, Meghan wore her locks down in loose curls, whilst donning a £50 linen buy from Solino Home.

She wore a £101 Zara dress paired with a large diamond ring

Shortly after, she wore a £89 J Crew basket-stitch sweater tank, which she styled with a £3,806 Logan Hollowell Queen emerald cut Cuban choker.

Her footwear was also designer, as she rocked a pair of £595 Saint Laurent sandals, as well as a £135 pair of Merrell walking boots.

Meghan continued to nod to her go-to high-street chain, as she later wore a £101 Zara dress, but of course, kept it regal and paired it with a £1,866 Logan Hollowell Libra diamond ring.

EPISODE FIVE

In episode five, Meghan looked the lady of luxury in a £78 J Crew shirt, which she paired with a posh £730 Max Mara coat, £131 La Ligne jeans and a £970 Brilliant Earth necklace.

For her next look, Meghan wore a £156 J Crew cashmere crew neck sweater, a £235 Posse pencil skirt and stylish £165 Anine Bing gold double-knot earrings.

Clearly a fan of the Anine Bing brand, which has since become known for its pricey athleisure wear, Meghan also wore a £109 shirt from the brand, which is available from Net-A-Porter and Selfridges.

EPISODE SIX

Moving onto episode six, the busy mum, who recently showed off her new ‘tattoo’, looked glamorous in a sleek, black Posse midi dress, worth £320.

It was clear that dresses were the in-thing for this episode, as shortly after, with her hair tied back, Meghan wore an £155 Sezane frock.

In this episode, she also wore £489 Zimmermann shorts, a £1,000 Brunello Cucinelli shirt and a £12,000 Cartier necklace.

EPISODE SEVEN

In episode seven, Meghan re-created Princess Diana’s iconic look as she wore a £75 Northwestern University sweatshirt, reminiscent of the one worn by Prince Harry‘s late mother nearly 30 years ago.

Meghan added to the ‘wholesomeness’ of the scene by treading barefoot on the grass as she picked vegetables, but has since been slammed by Hello! Magazine’s royal editor, Emily Nash, as ‘attention-grabbing’ for “cosplaying” Diana.

And it didn’t take long for viewers to see Meghan’s ‘stealth wealth’, as shortly after she wore a £235 Posse skirt, which she paired with a £44,696 Logan Hollowell Fortuna Tennis necklace.

EPISODE EIGHT

In the final episode, Meghan looked stunning as she glowed in a £1,800 Ralph Lauren floral linen dress, which she paired with £2,359 Anine Bing chunky diamond hoops and a £269 Ralph Lauren belt.

As well as this, she was also seen in a £960 Ulla Johnson Freesia dress, a £220 Anine Bing shirt, a £134 Posse skirt, and even wore £695 earrings from Kimai.

But whilst Meghan’s neutral look (which is far too expensive for any of us to afford) is sure to turn heads, we can’t imagine many normal mums would have the guts to wear cream whilst cooking
