Megan McKenna left heartbroken as her beloved nan passes away just weeks after meeting newborn baby

MEGAN McKenna has been left heartbroken by the death of her beloved grandmother.

The reality star, 32, revealed the sad news today, telling fans she had lost her ‘best friend’, but expressed joy that she had the chance to meet her son Landon.

Alongside a video of special moments they had together, Megan wrote: “You’re now my guardian angel nan.

“I will forever love you and miss you so much. You wasn’t only just my nan, you was a best friend and I will miss our FaceTime and coffee dates and Sunday roast dinners with you every day. It doesn’t feel real that you’re not with us anymore.

“I’m glad you’re at peace now. You will always be remembered as a beautiful lady that always had the best wardrobe about.”

She added: “I’m so glad Landon got to meet his nanny Jean.”

Megan’s famous pals rushed to support her, with Ashley James writing: “Sending you love.”

Ella Morgan commented: “Sending you and the family all my love, hugs, thoughts and healing my .I’m so sorry for your loss.”

Megan gave birth to her first child in October of last year and headed back to the UK over Christmas to spend time with her family and nan.

She currently lives in Germany with her fiancé Oliver Burke, who plays for SV Werder Bremen.

After the festive period Megan told her followers: “What a special day. Christmas is so much better now with babies, but yes, I collapsed on the bed last night with exhaustion.”

The star has been very open about missing home, and previously said: “I woke up really missing my mum and family this morning, had a wobble and a cry (thank god for ft) It’s not easy being in a different country with a newborn. “

She has also spoken about her struggles during the first few months of parenting and previously told how she flew in someone to help her get to the bottom of her’s stomach problems.

She explained: “It’s been a really, really, really hard couple of days.

“Landon has literally been so upset with his tummy for weeks, since, basically since he came out of me.

“I have a nanny flying out from Switzerland today. She specialises in everything, basically.

“And I just really, really need the help to try and figure out what is wrong with his tummy.”
