THE Masked Singer fans are convinced they have pinpointed the actress behind the Snail mask.
Viewers of the ITV weekend series are adamant a Netflix screen star is hidden inside the glam creature – who dons a pink diamante-studded face, yellow bonnet and ruffle skirt.

Initially, The Masked Singer viewers were all wowed by Snail, who took to the stage to sing Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter, with a garden-themed performance.
The fluttery-eyed character, who carries a green shell on her back, then belted out Take That hit Rule The World for their second week on the show.
The mollusk’s VT also had a Bridgerton-style feel as the narrative started with the words: ”Dearest gentle Masked Singer viewers…”
Now loyal telly show regulars reckon Kathryn Drysdale, 43, who found fame in BBC sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet Of Crisps is inside the shell.
One took to Reddit to muse: “I think snail is Kathryn Drysdale. She’s in Bridgerton. She was in St Trinians and in Bridgerton, her character pretends to be French.”
Earlier in the episode, Snail said “I love you,” in French.
Another fan put: “She sang in an episode of horrible histories too. Might need to compare the voices because that’s a good shout!”
One added: “Royal events clue – I think royal variety…”
Kathryn has played Genevieve Delacroix in Bridgerton since the first series.

Snail previously shared a riddle that read: ”I can look rather fancy here standing in lace, but sometimes in my mind, it can be up in space.”
They also told their VT “You find me a trifle disguised” as well as teasing: ”Are you wondering what scandalous secrets I might reveal?”
As well as donning their striking outfit they have sported a pin that read “welcome home”, two rings and a tie and boater hat.

Pufferfish – This year’s winner had flawless vocals throughout the competition. West End powerhouse Samantha Barks told the audience she’d loved every second of the series.
Dressed Crab – Former American football player turned jazz singer Gregory Porter was the man behind the crustacean. He duetted with Keala Settle, who previously competed as Air Fryer, in the final.
Wolf – Wet Wet Wet heartthrob Marti Pellow was unmasked as the rugged character. McFly’s Danny Jones, who won last year’s show as Piranha, was on the panel in the final and paid his respects to the Scottish crooner.
Bush – she didn’t fool viewers and the judges were so close, but Bush was in fact EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy. Davina McCall came closest, guessing Morgana Robinson, who does a mean impression of the Sonia actress
Bear – another success for new judge Maya Jama as she guessed correctly that the singing Bear was none other than singer, songwriter Example – real name Elliot Gleave.
Snail – this singer certainly fooled the judges as the mask was lifted to reveal Andrea Corr. Jonathan Ross admitted to being a huge fan of The Corrs.
Kingfisher – everyone was convinced this was Harry Hill, but the mask was lifted to reveal artist Sir Grayson Perry, who is known for his alter-ego Claire.
Teeth – this character baffled judges and viewers with their changing voice. They were finally unmasked as former Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc. None of the panel managed to guess it was her.
Tattoo – despite Davina McCall saying “you sound the same” after this character was unmasked, none of the judges guessed it was 80s singer Carol Decker, whose hit China In Your Hand was a No1 hit for five weeks.
Toad In The Hole – a massive diva strop saw the character storm off the stage after the judges voted them off. They later returned to be unmasked as singer Macy Gray.
Pegasus – the mythical horse was revealed to be Prue Leith, with judge Jonathan Ross correctly guessing her identity.
Spag Bol – this character was first to be unmasked and was none other than Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway.
Plus there was one extra unmasking this season, with Giant Joel – a caricature of host Joel Dommett – unveiled as double-double Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah.
Their guesses came after Tattoo was unmasked as Eighties singer Carol Decker at the weekend.
FAN GUESSES
Last week, eagle-eyed fans thought the celeb behind the elaborate snail costume was in fact ’90s pop legend Andrea Corr.
The Irish singer shot to fame nearly three decades ago with her brothers and sisters in the band The Corrs.
Andrea and her siblings were best known for songs like Breathless, So Young, and Runaway.
One tweeted: “Snail is Andrea Corr- violins playing, clue package mentions Irresistible straight away (Corrs song), soft Irish accent, clue about being up in space- her solo album was called Ten Feet High.”
While another said: “Ok so Snail on #MaskedSingerUK sounds very much like Andrea Corr and that is what I’m sticking with.”
Other guesses about Snail’s identity so far include Mary Berry and Cheryl.
