THE MASKED Singer fans are busy on the hunt to figure out who’s behind the latest crazy characters on stage – and now they’re sinking their teeth into Teeth.

A famous face is currently hiding under a set of comedy gnashers on the ITV primetime favourite, making it through to the next round in a bid to be declared winner.

Is Mel about to be revealed behind the mask?

After some deliberation, fans have come to the conclusion that Teeth is actually Bake Off favourite, Mel Giedroyc – with one big giveaway.

Taking to Reddit after watching the clues package, one user said: “It’s clearly Mel.

“Yes! She’s part Lithuanian which was the colours on the coach and the toothbrushes and she played a life coach in Miranda,” said another.

“And the orange and lettuce salad from last week id call a Light Lunch, and the Europe maps for Eurovision, or even the Lithuanian Polish heritage.”

The new clues come after the star hosted Eurovision, chat show Light Lunch alongside Sue Perkins in the late 90s, and her previous brief acting credits.

If true, Mel would be joining a growing number of faces from Bake Off who have appeared on the series.

Prue Leith, who took over judging duties from Mary Berry on the baking favourite, was revealed as Pegasus earlier this series of The Masked Singer.

Prue and Mel never worked together, with Mel, Sue and Mary all leaving the series when Bake Off moved from BBC to Channel 4.

Sue, Mel’s long-running presenting partner-in-crime, has also previously appeared on the show, being revealed as Dragon during series two.

During her time as Dragon, Sue was heard performing songs including Make You Feel My Love by Adele and All By Myself by Celine Dion.

Teeth’s real identity is yet to be revealed, but there’s been plenty of clues as to who they are.

Among the tidbits, Teeth has revealed she “has a bit of a big mouth” and “being a bit of a live wire.

However, other clues made the judges think there’s a sporting connection, with the character saying they were “going for gold” and “diving teeth first into the competition”

Other suggestions have been I’m A Celeb winner and England Lioness Jill Scott.

The truth will be revealed when the character is finally unmasked on the show.

Toad In The Hole – a massive diva strop saw the character storm off the stage after the judges voted them off. They later returned to be unmasked as singer Macy Gray.

Pegasus – the mythical horse was revealed to be Prue Leith, with judge Jonathan Ross correctly guessing her identity.

Spag Bol – this character was first to be unmasked and was none other than Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway.
