Dressed Crab had the judges on their feet on the weekend as he belted out the Lenny Kravitz hit song Are You Gonna Go My Way.

Dancing along, judge Mo Gillighan exclaimed: “He’s so good man!”

His co-star Davina McCall added: “Oh my God, that voice! What a singer!”

The live studio audience clapped wildly as Dressed Crab showed off his incredible set of pipes and, unsurprisingly, he sailed through to the next live show.

Fans at home also watched his incredible performance in awe and they are certain they’ve figured out his identity.

Ruling out the popular favourite guess of Gregory Porter, viewers are wondering if Dressed Crab is actually Teddy Swims.

Discussing their theories on Reddit, one fan said Saturday night’s clue of “working with a little faith” was a big hint towards the Lose Control star.

“I was in the Gregory Porter camp until tonight and one line in the clue package sent me off in a completely different direction. I think it may be Teddy Swims?” the fan wrote.

“In the clue package he mentioned working with a little faith, which made me think of Paloma, who Teddy collaborated with. Then Pufferfish sang Teddy’s song, which I think is ITV preempting not many people knowing who Teddy is?”

Another simply said: “Still think the crab is Teddy Swims.”

And a third added: “I think Teddy Swims might fit voice wise but he is too much of an unknown to UK audiences, people might think he’s Post Malone when he gets unmasked?”

Teddy released his first song of 2025 earlier this month.

Are You Even Real went on sale on January 10 and he has collaborated with Giveon for the track.

It is currently sitting at Number 23 in the UK’s Official Singles Sales Chart, having dramatically jumped up in a week from 75.

Not everyone is sure of the Teddy Swims guess, however.

Following Dressed Crab’s performance last Saturday, a British name has also been banded around.

Twelve celebrities were hidden behind intricate costumes, with their identities concealed.

Pufferfish This year’s winner had flawless vocals throughout the competition. West End powerhouse Samantha Barks told the audience she’d loved every second of the series.

Dressed Crab – Former American football player turned jazz singer Gregory Porter was the man behind the crustacean. He duetted with Keala Settle, who previously competed as Air Fryer, in the final.

WolfWet Wet Wet heartthrob Marti Pellow was unmasked as the rugged character. McFly’s Danny Jones, who won last year’s show as Piranha, was on the panel in the final and paid his respects to the Scottish crooner.

Bush – she didn’t fool viewers and the judges were so close, but Bush was in fact EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy. Davina McCall came closest, guessing Morgana Robinson, who does a mean impression of the Sonia actress

Bear – another success for new judge Maya Jama as she guessed correctly that the singing Bear was none other than singer, songwriter Example – real name Elliot Gleave.

Snail – this singer certainly fooled the judges as the mask was lifted to reveal Andrea Corr. Jonathan Ross admitted to being a huge fan of The Corrs.

Kingfisher – everyone was convinced this was Harry Hill, but the mask was lifted to reveal artist Sir Grayson Perry, who is known for his alter-ego Claire.

Teeth – this character baffled judges and viewers with their changing voice. They were finally unmasked as former Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc. None of the panel managed to guess it was her.

Tattoo – despite Davina McCall saying “you sound the same” after this character was unmasked, none of the judges guessed it was 80s singer Carol Decker, whose hit China In Your Hand was a No1 hit for five weeks.

Toad In The Hole – a massive diva strop saw the character storm off the stage after the judges voted them off. They later returned to be unmasked as singer Macy Gray.

Pegasus – the mythical horse was revealed to be Prue Leith, with judge Jonathan Ross correctly guessing her identity.

Spag Bol – this character was first to be unmasked and was none other than Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway.

Plus there was one extra unmasking this season, with Giant Joel – a caricature of host Joel Dommett – unveiled as double-double Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah.

Some viewers reckon that Michael Kiwanuka is behind the Crab mask.

The English singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer, is currently signed to Polydor Records.

Michael is perhaps best known for his hit Cold Little Heart which is Big Little Lies’ opening theme song.

During the show, Dressed Crab appeared to drop the clue of “big little lies”, leaving some viewers wondering if had given his identity away in an instant.
