Last year it was confirmed bosses had green-lit a second instalment of the murder mystery, with Samantha Bond back at the helm.

There’ll be a new spate of crimes that need to be solved by Judith Potts, Suzie Harris and Becks Starling as Jo Martin, Cara Horgan and Natalie Dew reprise their roles.

Also starring in the next run is EastEnders actress Samantha Womack, Maryland’s Andrew Knott, Holby City’s Hugh Quarshie, Shetland‘s Patrick Robinson and Doctors’ Elizabeth Bennett.

And now its highly anticipated return has been confirmed – with the new series kicking off on Wednesday, March 19 at 8pm.

The team will be left challenged when a murder is committed inside the locked study of a grand mansion.

Another dead body pops up when a man is killed in a sleepy cul-de-sac, with no connection to the town.

Meanwhile, an accident at the Marlow sailing club will turn out to be more sinister than the they thought.

It was previously revealed that six new episodes had been ordered, with the first two based on Robert Thorogood’s second book, Death Comes to Marlow.

The third and fourth will then cover a new standalone mystery, just like the fifth and sixth episodes.

The Marlow Murder Club will also be available to stream now on U.
