A BEAUTY lover has wowed social media users with her jaw-dropping glow-up after ditching sunbeds and eyelash extensions.

At some point in our life, most of us will change our style and aesthetic – whether it’s ditching ”chav phase” for a more elegant appearance, or doing the very opposite.

Beauty lover Grace, from London, shared her jaw-dropping makeover on TikTok where it’s since taken the platform by storm

The web went wild, as social media users insisted Grace now looked ‘younger and fresher’

But while there are plenty of glow-ups shared online, it will be pretty challenging to find one more ”insane” than London-based Grace’s incredible transformation.

Before embarking on her makeover journey, the young woman was sporting a black mane which she dyed, as well as a bronzed complexion achieved with ageing sunbeds.

To top off the look, the naturally gorgeous beauty buff would also get eyelash extensions – something Grace recently confessed on TikTok she thought she’d never break free from.

However, at some point the stunner, who posts under the username @gk25555, realised she had had enough of the aesthetic and decided to give herself a brand new look.

The once pitch black tresses were swapped with a more natural dark brunette mane and she said her last goodbye to the flattery falsies too – and that’s not all.

Grace, who posted the jaw-dropping makeover in a now-viral video, revealed that she had also stopped visiting tanning shops and has since learnt to embrace her natural glow.

Sharing the Before and After snaps on the popular platform, the Londoner chuckled in the caption: ”I never thought I’d get away from the extension life.”

Gobsmacked by the epic transformation, over 200 social media users, as well as hopeful would-be Romeos, flocked to comments.

Several people pointed out how the makeover had shaved years off her appearance, with one writing: ”You instantly look so much younger!”

Another chimed in: ”you genuinely look so much better natural, this true beauty.”

Someone else penned: ”That’s what I call a glow-up, now you see how beautiful and unique you are! Hope more women and girls will follow!”

”Wow, you look so younger and fresher,” a fourth was amazed by the stark difference.

”U look healthier and glowing, sun beds give such a horrible wrinkly leather look,” a TikTok user added.

Sunbed risks – skin cancer and premature ageing

The risks are greater for young people. Evidence shows people who are frequently exposed to UV rays before the age of 25 are at greater risk of developing skin cancer later in life.

Sunbeds, sunlamps and tanning booths give out the same type of harmful radiation as sunlight. UVA rays make up about 95% of sunlight.

They can cause your skin to age prematurely, making it look coarse, leathery and wrinkled. UVB rays make up about 5% of sunlight and burn your skin.

A tan is your body’s attempt to protect itself from the damaging effect of UV rays. Using a sunbed to get a tan is not safer than tanning in the sun.

It may even be more harmful, depending on factors such as: the strength of UV rays from the sunbed, how often you use a sunbed, the length of your sunbed sessions, your skin type and your age.

Anyone can get skin cancer and Melanoma is the fifth most common cancer in the UK.

There are more than 16,000 cases a year and approximately 2,300.

Melanoma is caused by overexposure to the sun and sunbeds and this is why The Sun previously launched its Dying For A Tan campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of using sunbeds, which can raise your risk of skin cancer and cause premature ageing.
