A WOMAN has revealed that she lost over 10 stone after taking Mounjaro for seven months.
Alexandra, who is from the UK but is currently living in Dubai, claimed that she is now much “happier” thanks to the weight-loss jabs, but experts and NHS medics have warned about the dangers of fat jabs and say they shouldn’t be taken without a prescription.

Alexandra confessed that she has used the injections for 28 weeks and during this time, she went from weighing 17 stone 9lbs to just 7 stone 3lbs.
After dropping over 10 stone, the brunette beauty took to social media to give her followers a before and after look at her weight loss, leaving many totally stunned.
But her weight loss has caused quite the discussion online – and whilst it’s left many very impressed, others claimed using Mounjaro would ‘come back and bite’ her and even accused her of being “selfish”.
Mounjaro, known as the King Kong of jabs, is to be rolled out on the NHS.
Sun GP Dr Zoe Williams says it can save the lives of people with “life-threatening levels of obesity”.
But despite this, the NHS website warns: “Never take an anti-obesity medicine if it has not been prescribed to you. These types of medicines may not be safe for you and can cause serious side effects.”
About half a million Brits use weight loss drugs – and that number is expected to double in the next year.
Mounjaro is said to suppress the appetite, making people feel fuller for longer.
Such injections are licensed for patients with type 2 diabetes and to assist those who are clinically obese – with a Body Mass Index of 30 or over.
One jab is administered each week but the duration is dependent on a person’s weight.

But many are now buying them through online pharmacies with insufficient checks.
Earlier this year, figures from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency revealed fat jabs had been linked to 82 deaths across the UK.
And the family of a man from Burton upon Trent, Staffs, who died after taking Mounjaro are calling for a probe into the jab’s “potential to kill”.
‘It’s changed my life’
But despite the dangers, this content creator, who has 39,000 followers, eagerly took to social media to show off her Mounjaro weight loss.
In a short clip shared online, Alexandra posed in the mirror prior to her weight loss.
She wore her hair scrapped back and stood wearing a black crop top and leggings.
But then there’s my mum waiting for three years for it because she’s diabetic? It’s just selfish
But seconds later, viewers saw Alexandra pose in a slinky black jumpsuit, as she proudly showed off her unbelievable slimmed down frame.
Alongside the short clip, Alexandra penned: “Another little before and after from my Mounjaro journey”.
Alexandra later confirmed that when it came to side effects, she had “terrible hair loss, some kidney pains” and a “bad stomach” if she ate unhealthily.
But despite this, she beamed: “I’m definitely happier.”
She also shared: “It’s absolutely changed my life.”
Social media users react
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @alexandraindubai, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and racked up a jaw-dropping three million views.
But social media users were left totally divided by Alexandra’s transformation – whilst many eagerly rushed to the comments to praise her slim new look, not everyone was as kind.
Incredible. Well done
One person said: “Omg that is incredible.”
Another added: “Wow!! Well done, you look amazing.”
A third commented: “Incredible. Well done. How are your arms so good?”
However, at the same time, someone else wrote: “But then there’s my mum waiting for three years for it because she’s diabetic? It’s just selfish.”
A second chimed in: “There will be implications down the road.”
Whilst another penned: “You will all end up worse, you can’t mess with digestion!
“It will come back and bite you in the a**! Why would you do this to your body??”
The reality of Mounjaro
Despite Alexandra’s weight loss success, last year it was revealed that Scots nurse Susan McGowan, 58, died after taking low-dose injections of Mounjaro over a fortnight.
A probe also found that nearly 400 people have gone to hospital after taking weight loss drugs.
Whilst Alexandra dealt with hair loss and kidney pain, the common side effects include nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, which can lead to severe dehydration.
But if that wasn’t bad enough, doctors say they have also seen “life-threatening complications”, including seizures, bowel obstruction and inflammation of the pancreas.
Model Lottie Moss, 27, even said she had a seizure after taking high doses of Ozempic.
The makers of Mounjaro, Lilly UK, said patient safety is its “top priority”.
Lilly UK stressed: “Regulatory agencies conduct extensive independent assessments of the benefits and risks of every new medicine and Lilly is committed to continually monitoring, evaluating, and reporting safety data.
“If anyone is experiencing side effects when taking any Lilly medicine, they should talk to their doctor or other healthcare professional.”
