Lidl launches Birkenstock clog dupes for less than £8 & they’re real leather

FOR the last few years, the Birkenstock clog has been the summer shoe of choice, with Kendall Jenner and Hilary Duff sporting them.

Not only do they look effortlessly chic, but they’re also extremely comfortable to wear all day and are made of real leather to ensure they last.

And now you can grab a pair just like them for a fraction of the price thanks to Lidl.

The German retailer has released a dupe of the cult-favourite shoe for just £7.99.

Fashion fans won’t want to miss out on the drop which will be available in stores from Sunday.

The clogs come in the signature Birkenstock taupe colour and will instantly become a wardrobe staple for the summer.

While they may cost £142 less than the original, the quality is almost identical.

The new shoes from Lidl are made of leather ensuring they last you a lifetime.

The shoes also include a brass buckle like the original which can be tightened or loosened for a comfortable fit and have lightweight EVA soles.

It looks like the Birkenstock trend is here to stay for another summer, so if you’re finally ready to jump on the trend, now is your chance.

The shoes come in adult sizes ranging from 4 to 11 so you can even match with the whole family.

And with the money you’ll save buying the dupes, you’ll be able to buy plenty of Aperol spritz while you show off your new footwear at the pub.

More ways to save money in Lidl

Lidl tends to reduce ht price of items at the start of the day and the best deals can be found between 7am to 8am, when most stores open.

Shoppers can often find cooked meats, salmon fillets and breads reduced by 30% or more.

Also on offer is the retailer’s Waste Not boxes that come with around five kilos of fruit and vegetables inside and cost just £1.50.

They can be picked up from your local Lidl branch, which you can find by using the retailer’s store locator tool.

The only catch is that the fruit and veg is slightly damaged, discoloured or deteriorated, although it is still good to eat.

Everyone knows about the “Middle of Lidl” – it’s here where you’ll find a load of random stuff that you didn’t realise you need, at decent prices.

But if you are hoping to avoid spending more than you planned, you can check what will be in the “Middle of Lidl” on the supermarket’s website in advance.

The Middle of Lidl is refreshed every Thursday and Sunday.
