EMOTIONAL scenes on Dragons’ Den saw Joe Wicks comfort a crying man who sold his house to fund his business.
The fitness coach, 39, is a guest investor on the BBC business programme’s latest outing.
Fitness enthusiast Joseph Keegan entered the Den with his business, Body XCore – wearable gym fitness equipment that can be easily carried around.
The entrepreneur shared how he even sold his own house and car to create the product.
He sobbed: “I didn’t want to but I believe in it so much, I’m willing to do anything to make it succeed.
“My purpose in life is to make my mum happy up in heaven.
“It’s been worth it.”
Moved by the story, Joe told him: “I couldn’t imagine putting my house up for sale to fulfil my dream, that’s so brave of you, but maybe there’s a world where you don’t have to do that.”
He added: “I’ve got to give you a little cuddle, I’m feeling a bit emotional now”, as the two shared a hug.
Joe then revealed he intended to invest, saying: “You are my kind of guy and this is my kind of product.”
He offered the full £70,000 for 25% in Body XCore, as well as helping Joseph launch the product across the UK and on his social media.
Fellow Dragons Peter Jones, Touker Souleyman and Sara Davies also showed interest.

After mulling over the options, entrepreneur Joseph opted to accept three of the Dragons’ offers.
