TV legend Jane McDonald leaves one of her superfans gobsmacked this weekend on Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win as she surprises him on the show.
Fans of the ITV quizzing favourite will be left delighted to see the popular TV travel star as she makes an unexpected cameo on the programme in order to cheer on one of the contestants in their bid to win millions on the programme.
Self-confessed Jane superfan Tim will get the surprise of a lifetime when he discovers that the singing and presenting star is rooting for the couple as they prepare to take on the limitless ladder and win a huge cash prize.
Before entering the studio, Tim did not hold back on his love for Jane as he was left singing her praises within seconds of introducing himself and Karis.
Tim told the cameras: “We (Karis and I) started working together in A&E… And it’s been pretty awesome ever since.
“People who are important to me, apart from Karis, are my family – particularly my older brothers.
“I also really love Jane McDonald. She’s got it all.
“I’d love to go on a night out with Jane, she’s a national asset.”
Eager to pull out all the stops, Ant and Dec had organised a little surprise by managing to bring Jane down to hang out backstage and cheer the pair on.
Before revealing the surprise, Ant jokes: “We should have made it a proper party and invited Jane McDonald around!”
As the hosts chuckle, Dec then confirms he did as the show cuts to Jane backstage.
In a heartfelt moment, Tim is left speechless as he sees his idol talking directly to him.

Ant then quips: “If you’re gonna have a good luck charm there’s no one better than Jane McDonald I’d say.”
