ITV has pulled the plug on one of its newest dramas after just two series.
The broadcaster won’t be striking a deal with production company Noho Film and Television to make a third series of Tell Me Everything.

Execs had signed an original two-series deal for self-described ‘provocative’ drama, which was based on growing up outside London in the 2020s.
It followed 16-year-old Jonny Murphy – played by Eden H. Davies – as he navigated teenage life with his friends, exploring mental health, heartbreak, addiction and death.
An insider said: “Tell Me Everything was originally commissioned for ITVX as part of a two-series deal.
“It was a great achievement for cast and crew that its popularity resulted in it getting a place in the linear TV schedules on ITV2.
“There was the opportunity to renew the show but a decision was made to shelve the format for now.”
A spokesperson for ITV said: “After two brilliant series of Tell Me Everything, there are no further plans for the show to return at present.”
Tell Me Everything’s second series aired in June last year on ITV2 – with both seasons now available to stream on ITVX.
Mark Quartley, Sophie Albett, Daisy Jacob, Spike Fearn, Ben Jones and Liz White also starred in the series.
Meanwhile, ITV bosses have brought the axe down on McDonald and Dodds after four series.

At the end of series four, McDonald had seemingly accepted her partner’s marriage proposal – but now fans won’t see what happens next in a brutal cliffhanger.
