A MASSIVE singer from the United States left her British fans gutted when she cancelled one of her tour dates.
Gracie Abrams, who recently toured with Taylor Swift, announced she had to cancel two dates in her The Secret of Us tour at the last minute earlier this week.
Gracie’s announcement came after she was struck down with an illness on Monday.
Pulling out of her show in Nottingham just hours before she was due on stage, the 25-year-old singer, who is rumoured to have split from actor Paul Mescal, left fans devastated by the news.
Not only did she cancel her Nottingham gig, but she also cancelled her concert that was due to take place in Leeds on Tuesday.
Taking to social media to pen a handwritten note, Gracie – who is often referred to as a nepo-baby, told fans in the statement: “Nottingham + Leeds… I hate that I have to write this again so soon.
“Unfortunately, I am really still struggling with this illness and have been advised that I cannot perform these next two nights.
“I can’t tell you how much this breaks my heart.
“This tour is something I’ve been dreaming of since the album came out, and the shows we’ve played so far have meant more to me than I can tell you.
“The moment we have any concrete details about these two shows in your cities, we will be in touch.
“Please know I’d give anything to be able to be with you. Thank you for understanding.
“I’m sending all my love and my deepest regrets.”

Taking to X, one person said: “The Gracie Abrams girlies were queuing outside overnight in Nottingham the night before the show just for the show to get cancelled…”
Another echoed: “People were sleeping in the streets of Nottingham queuing for Gracie and now she’s cancelled it…”
While a third penned: “Feel bad that there’s still people out waiting for tonight’s Gracie Abrams concert in Nottingham when it’s been cancelled like would’ve surely thought someone might go out at the arena if possible to let them know.”
And a fourth touched on other shows Gracie recently cancelled due to illness when they penned: “Gracie cancelling Brussels, Nottingham & Leeds is so heartbreaking.
“Her health comes first always, just hoping she heals quickly and feels better soon. Thinking of everyone who was excited to see her, I know this must be devastating 🙁 Sending love to all of you & Gracie.”
Gracie was suffering a “gnarly” illness just mere days ago when she was forced to cancel her show in Brussels.
Taking to social media at the time, she said: “My body has been fighting off something gnarly for the past week, and despite doing everything in my power to keep it contained, it has gotten to a point where all medical advice I’ve received says I cannot perform and need to rest.
“At this point in time I can’t give you the show you deserve and that breaks my heart, especially knowing all the travel and the planning and the care that you put into attending our show.”
Gracie is the daughter of an Emmy award-winning writer, producer, director, and composer.

The 25-year-old hitmaker is also dating actor Paul Mescal, although in recent weeks, they have been rumoured to have split.
