CHOCOLATE lovers can bag great discounts on their favourite seasonal sweet treats in a huge clearance sale this week.
Poundland is getting rid of some of its Christmas and Valentine’s Day stock – meaning shoppers can grab some pretty sweet bargains.
Maltesers Reindeer Chocolates are selling for just 10p, down from their usual price of 70p.
Most shops have stopped stocking the chocolate reindeer now and are instead filling shelves with the Easter version (the Malteser Bunny).
However some Waitrose stores are selling 59g packs of Merryteaser Mini Reindeer for 38p.
Poundland is also selling another Christmas classic, Cadbury’s Mini Snowballs, for £1.65.
Again these are a little hard to come by now, although you can get a pack of two on Amazon for £8.99.
Meanwhile the Poundland sale also includes a pack of Elizabeth Shaw Christmas Milk Chocolate Orange Honeycomb Crisp treats, down from £3 to £2.
Quality Street Matchmakers in the flavours Chocolate Hazelnut and Cool Mint are £1, down from £1.50.
The Cool Mint packs are selling for £2 on Ocado and at Sainsbury’s.
They’re slightly cheaper at Iceland, selling for £1.50, but the best deal is still at Poundland.
There’s some post-Valentines bargains to be had in the clearance sale, too.

Which other shops have launched clearance sales?
As the Spring approaches, a number of shops have started launching clearance sales to get rid of their winter stock.
Dunelm has been holding a huge sale with up to 70% off and prices starting at just 50p.
Shoppers have been snapping up bargains on everything from bedding to winter essentials, cookware and more.
Thousands of products are included in the sale but stock levels can vary at each store.
Morrisons has also been holding a major clearance sale in-store, with prices slashed as low as £1.50 for items in the women’s clothing and baby clothing sections.
The massive sale of up to 75% off has women’s tops priced at as little as £2 and bottoms at £3.
Meanwhile Boots has slashed prices to up to a whopping 90% off in its winter clearance sale.
The sale includes candles, perfumes, make-up and gift sets from brands including Soap & Glory, No7, Disney and FCUK.
One smart shopper said she had done her entire 2025 Christmas shopping for just £28.65 by getting everything in the sale.
Argos has also launched an enormous site sale with discounts as high as 50%.
Among the huge discounts is the Dyson V8 Absolute Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, which is £285.60 down from £400.
The Polly Pocket Pollyville Pet Adventure Treehouse Playset is £20, down from £40.
