Has looked a nice prospect in novice contests with a Fontwell fourth followed by a game win here last time. That was over two miles but Chris Gordon’s improver was not stopping and he should show more for this step up in distance. He gets on well with rider Freddie Gordon who takes off a handy 3lb.

Enjoyed his return to the level from hurdling when beaten in a photo at Southwell ten days ago. He saves his best Flat form for this sort of trip and is kept to the same basement level by his trainer Charlie Clover. The booking of Sean Levey again looks a plus.

He’s a winner over this trip and track and came right back to his best when a close second at Kempton last time out. He’s only 2lb higher than his most recent success which gives him every chance.
