FRERE D’ARMES (4.40 Fakenham, nb)

Is a good performer at this hunter chase level as he showed when scoring at Ludlow last time out. His last visit to Fakenham was a winning one and he gets on well with today’s rider. This trip suits on decent ground and he can add to his winning tally.

MONSIEUR FANTAISIE (2.00 Southwell, treble)

Threw in a rare poor run at Newcastle last time but is much better suited to this track. He has a fantastic Southwell record with two wins and two seconds from his four visits. He saves his best for this specialist trip and Jo Mason can get a good tune out of him.

Is consistent and was less than a length away at Wolverhampton last time. That was on the back of a comfortable win around here over 7f. Moving up to a mile holds no fears and he’ll go close again.
