HUMAN remains have been found near a Morrisons store as a swarm of forensic cops have flocked to the scene.
Part of Festival Park in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, has been cordoned off by police after a passerby found the remains and raised the alarm at 3.40pm yesterday.

The path between Morrisons and another area of the park has been closed off as investigators attempt to solve the mystery.
Four cop cars and a blue tent have been spotted inside the cordon.
Four forensics officers were also seen in white suits going in and out of a large blue tent set up on the hilly wooded area earlier today.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: “We were called to reports of skeletal remains found by a member of the public on land near Festival Park.
“We can now confirm that the remains are human but at this time have not been formally identified.
“A scene is in place while investigators examine the scene.”
They added: “We want to assure the local community that although this is an unsettling discovery, we have a visible presence in the area to investigate, provide reassurance and to listen to any concerns.”
The green space neighbours Festival Retail Park, home to a number of stores including Next, Boots, Argos, and JD Sports as well as the Morrisons superstore.
