GLASTONBURY fans think they might have worked out another of the festival’s headliners.
Many fans of the festival reckon an iconic 80s band will perform this summer at the popular music event held at Worthy Farm after spotting gaps in their tour dates.
“Pet shop Boys?? What do we think?” a Redditor shared in a rumours group on the sight.
Alongside their quizzical speculation, they shared a photo of The Pet Shop Boys’ tour dates.
The poster revealed that the duo would be on tour on June 17, 19 and 21; July 16, 20, 25, 31; and August 2, 16, and 30.
Glastonbury is due to take place this year between June 25 and 29, meaning the duo has a gap in their schedule to make an appearance at the event.
One person said on Reddit: “PLEASE.”
While another swooned: “I would absolutely love this.”
“Would be amazing,” offered a third, adding: “Their 2022 Sunday Other stage headline set was one of the top 2 or 3 performances for me that year.”
A fourth person then said: “Would be great to see them there but potentially too soon for them to return after their 2022 other stage slot.”
While a fifth said: “This is still the same tour they done in 2022 on the Other stage, so highly doubt they would do a repeat performance of exactly the same show.”
The Pet Shop Boys are an English synth-pop duo who were big in the 80s.

The band have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, and they still have a huge fan base to this day.
The Sun previously revealed that pop icons Chappell Roan, Charli XCX and Olivia Rodrigo are all set to perform at Glastonbury next year.
They join The 1975, Stevie Wonder and Neil Young who are due to perform on the Pyramid Stage.
The Pet Shop boys aren’t the only musical act rumoured to join the above stars.
Other rumours include the likes of the Maccabbees, Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, and Basement Jaxx.
The Maccabees sparked speculation of a reunion back in October of last year and they recently confirmed they are back together and performing as a band again.
The five-piece group, fronted by Orlando Weeks, are already booked to headline a London music festival this summer, but fans think they could also sign up to perform at Glastonbury, with rumours rife online.
