COPS are hunting for a man wearing a yellow backpack after an 18-year-old woman was allegedly raped on Christmas Day.
Warwickshire Police launched an investigation into the incident in Leamington Spa.
Cops previously said that the woman, who was wearing a white coat, was attacked between 1am and 3.30am in the town centre.
Police have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to this incident as he could have important information.
Warwickshire Police said: “If you recognise this man or are this man, contact us on our website reporting tool (which is linked in the comments), by calling 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 citing Incident 208 of 25 December.
“If you see this man, contact 999.
“The investigating officer is DC 2281 Bury.”
Officers previously said they were looking for any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage from the area of the Parade, Clarendon Avenue, Beauchamp Road, Beauchamp Avenue or Kenilworth Road from between midnight and 4am on Christmas Day.
Warwickshire Police said it is believed passers-by may have assisted the victim.
