George, Charlotte & Louis ‘won’t appear in public more than 4 times this year’, claims expert – after selfie went viral

EVERY time Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis step out in public, they always steal the show.

Sadly for royal fans, an expert has claimed that we may only see Prince William and Princess Kate’s children four times this year.

Royal biographer Robert Hardman told Marie Claire that 2025 may be a more private year for the family.

He stated: “I don’t think we’re going to see them in any way being shunted into the public eye more than is reasonably expected.

“I think there’s definitely a view that we the public should not expect to see them any more than sort of official royal family gatherings.”

The first of the four events could be Easter in April, when the royals typically head to church.

Robert predicts we will next see the Wales children at Trooping the Colour in June.

The royal biographer then predicted we could see the kids at Princess Kate’s Together at Christmas carol concert in December.

He also speculated that an appearance to honour VE Day, held to pay tribute to the end of World War II, might be “on the cards.”

Editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine Ingrid Seward agreed with Robert, and told Fabulous: “I think that we won’t see quite so much of them this year.

“Hopefully we’ll see them on VE day.”

One appearance that Robert didn’t mention that is typically an annual occurrence is the Wales family stepping out on Christmas Day with the royals at Sandringham.

If the kids are having a more private year, it will be a surprising change from 2024 when their public appearances appeared to ramp up.

This included Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince George, 11, being seen at the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert in London.

The delighted kids managed to get a selfie with the singer, which she shared on her social media.

Princess Charlotte also attended Wimbledon alongside mum Princess Kate, and Prince George has accompanied Prince William to football games.

Private childhood

The Prince and Princess of Wales are said to be keen for their three kids to have as normal an upbringing as possible.

“Kate has always wanted the children to live in the real world,” a royal source says.

“She and William don’t want them to live in a gilded bubble. They want them to grow up having the same experiences as other kids.”

Insiders say the key to Kate’s parenting skills stems from her own childhood.

Both she and William have been inspired by the way Kate was brought up, going for country walks, baking cakes and sliding down the stairs on a tray.

Kate’s gradual return

Princess Kate is currently making a “gradual return” to royal duties in 2025 following her chemotherapy treatment last year.

It has now been just over a year since the princess was admitted to hospital for an operation on January 16, seven days after her 42nd birthday.

She spent nearly two weeks in the London Clinic after major abdominal surgery, before beginning chemotherapy.

Since then, the 43-year-old has remained largely out of the public eye.

But, she announced in September last year that she had finished chemotherapy and she would focus on being “cancer free” in a heartwarming video.

By the end of 2024, the Princess made more appearances including hosting her annual Together at Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey.
