GAVIN and Stacey’s Joanna Page makes her TV return TODAY in a brand new series – days after the beloved show ended for good.
The Welsh actress, 47, played Stacey on and off from 2007 until the BBC sitcom’s finale on Christmas Day 2024.
She now steps into a new role, as presenter of Joanna Page’s Wild Life.
The show combines Joanna’s love for creatures with her ‘animal-magic’ personality.
It debuts at 6.30pm today (January 6) on BBC Two.
Joanna learns how to become a wildlife rescue volunteer, as well as the three R’s: Rescue, Rehab, and Release.
To prepare, Joanna worked at Wildlife Aid, one of the UK’s leading wildlife hospitals.
She previously said: “I’m so proud of this series and what I was able to achieve.
“I feel more equipped and excited to welcome wildlife into my own garden and can’t wait for viewers to see a different side to me.
“It’s also an amazingly educational series.
“I’m hoping that audiences will be able to go away and create little safe havens in their outdoor spaces for our wonderful wildlife species we have here across the UK”.
More than 19 million people have tuned into Gavin and Stacey’s finale since it aired on Christmas Day.

Elsewhere, Joanna recalled bidding farewell to the beloved show for a final time.
She said: “Being on set for the last time with everybody for the last day was traumatic. I knew I was going to cry as soon as I walked on set.
“I saw Steve’s face, our first AD, and I just burst out crying.
“Then I saw Sophie Hebron, our second AD, and I burst out crying again.
“So then I went into my trailer and Julia Davis came in and sat with me, and I couldn’t stop crying, because it just felt it was such a huge journey that was ending.”
