POLICE have called off the search for a missing woman who was last seen leaving home in her pyjamas two days ago.

Alexandra, 27, from Barnsley, was last seen on Saturday March 1 at 7am.

She was reported missing after she failed to return home on Sunday March 2.

Alexandra was described by South Yorkshire Police as a white woman, 5ft 2ins tall, of slim build, with long brown hair.

Her hair is usually tied in a top knot, the statement added.

Alexandra was last seen wearing grey pyjama trousers and a black puffer jacket.

Police said they were growing “increasingly concerned” for Alexandra’s welfare.

And they urged anyone with any information to come forward.

On Tuesday, the force wrote on Facebook: “UPDATE: We are pleased to share that missing woman Alexandra from Barnsley has been found safe and well.

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal!”
