EMMERDALE fans have been left scratching their heads after spotting a glaring blunder in the explosive limo crash scenes – as two characters are feared dead and others fight for survival.
Emmerdale was rocked by a chilling disaster after a limo full of people plunged into an icy lake.
Charity Dingle, Chas Dingle and Liam Cavanagh were left sinking in the limo, alongside Leyla Harding, Amy Barton and Kerry Wyatt.
Tracy Robinson, Vanessa Woodfield and Suzy Merton were all there too.
After the crash, the women slowly regained consciousness – but not everyone woke up.
Suzy succumbed to her injuries, and Vanessa quickly confirmed that she wasn’t breathing.
Despite Liam’s desperate attempts to revive her, Suzy was pronounced dead, leaving the group devastated.
But with the limo sinking further into the icy lake, there was no time to grieve.
Charity admitted she had swerved after seeing her son Noah in the road. Encouraged by Chas, she was the first to get out of the limo and set off across the frozen lake to find him and get help.
After she carefully navigated the ice, Charity discovered Noah unconscious in the woods – but will he survive?
Meanwhile, Liam led the others across the frozen lake, with Chas narrowly avoiding a deadly fall.
Vanessa and Tracy followed, but disaster struck when Amy plunged through the ice and into the freezing water.

However, ITV viewers couldn’t resist pointing out a huge blunder during the tense scenes, which saw the women carefully exiting the limo and walking across the ice.
Fans shouted at their TV screens as the beloved characters slammed the limo door behind them – risking vibrations that could have cracked the ice.
Taking to Reddit, one fan wrote: “Chas proper slammed the door like I was screaming at the TV going ‘WHY SLAM THE DOOOOOR???’”
Another agreed: “Yes!!! I kept shouting that- the door AND the window!! Chas wound the window to peek out (of a bloody see through window!) and then wound the damn thing back up!! And Jesus! Did they all need to keep slamming the door shut!”
A third penned: “I LITERALLY said while watching earlier that if it was me that door would not be getting shut, i wouldn’t be playing with that slamming about.”
Viewers also couldn’t believe that the women chose to walk across the ice in heels rather than crawling or taking them off completely to distribute their weight more safely and increase their chances of survival.
One said: “I was also yelling at them to CRAWL on the ice, not walk on it. Distribute their weight. Is that not common knowledge someplace like Yorkshire? I feel like if Liam has been in his right mind he’d know all this and told them!”
Another added: “Take off your heels when you walk across the ice, otherwise you’re walking with ice picks on your feet.”
A third chimed in: “Omg the whole time I was annoyed that no-one took off their heels to walk across the ice!”
