The scene in question aired during last Thursday’s visit to Walford on BBC One.

Denise Fox had learned of Jack Branning’s recent romp with Nicola Mitchell which left her disgusted.

While they were sat in the Queen Vic with Jack’s daughter Penny while Nicola watched on from the bar.

While sporting a healing cut on his forehead, he told the pair: “Look I’m embarrassed, alright? It was nothing.”

However, throughout the scene the gash on Jack’s head was magically disappearing before reappearing.

The epic continuity blunder was instantly picked up by eagle-eyed EastEnders fans who couldn’t believe the mistake was broadcast.

Posting on social media, one viewer even branded BBC bosses as ‘slackers’ for the gaffe.

One said: “I don’t understand how they can’t do that scene in one.”

A second wrote: “Why was he even filming without the brow makeup?”

“They’re slacking wth,” said a third fan.

While a fourth commented: “Why can’t people just enjoy the program rather than picking out stupid little things like a cut that has gone missing.”

Meanwhile, EastEnders bosses recently announced a live interactive storyline feature for the show’s 40th anniversary.
