THE EASTENDERS cast have become embroiled in a secret feud after Jamie Borthwick unfollowed former co-star Danielle Harold.
Lola Pearce actress Danielle played Jamie’s on-screen wife until 2023 when the character died of a brain tumour.
The pair were close off-screen too, regularly attending events together with a solid friendship.
It comes after it was reported how Danielle had been in a secret relationship with co-star Max Bowden for years.
Suspicion was sparked after they unfollowed each other on Instagram last week.
A source told Daily Mail: “Danielle and Max dated for a number of years.
“Of course, it was known among the EastEnders cast and everyone thought they were sweet together.
“Their relationship hasn’t ended on the best terms, and they have even unfollowed each other on Instagram.
“There are a lot of emotions after they were friends, colleagues, and romantically involved for such a long time.”
The situation was further complicated by Max publicly dating another co-star Shona McGarty.
Together, the duo were in a relationship for around six months as they worked together on the long-running BBC One soap.
Although they seemingly became close quickly, the duo soon called it quits.

This comes after Shona opened up meeting her now-fiancé David Bracken, admitting that she started getting to know him two years ago.
Shona remained friends with Max following their split, and she even gushed about her close bond with Max’s mum at the British Soap Awards.
